Rolife Moments: Clarice’s Story - Turning Miniature Kits into Personal Memories
Oct 08,2025 | Rolife Team
At Rolife, we believe that each DIY miniature kit is not just a craft but a unique journey and an adventure. Community star Clarice is the perfect example - she started only a month ago and is already hooked. Today, we are sharing her story.
The Beginning
“I started Rolife a month ago.
Build 3 super creator kits, 1 miniature house, and 3 mini rooms.
I struggled with the mini at first but I slowly got the hang of it. Then I find myself wanting to build more mini rooms.
Now I proudly declare: My favorite Rolife kits are the minis!!!”
Clarice loves every moment of the process of making each kit, not minding that the procedure is slow. Because of the tiny size of the miniature houses and rooms, it takes care and precision to make them, but Clarice even enjoys waiting for the paint and glue to dry. She loves to watch every small detail come to life.
Adding Personality
However, Clarice did not stop there. She added a personal touch to each kit she created, placing figures and pictures in each scene and writing stories about them.
The Backstreet Boys

One of her mini rooms became a heartfelt tribute to her teenage years.
“It was a Thursday night in October 1996, 10:30pm. She saw the first Backstreet Boys MTV and she was hooked. Became their fans forever. She saved up to buy all their CDs. Would read the booklets from front to back numerous times. Her room was full of their things. Now she’s a 44 year old auntie pig but she still smiles when she hears Backstreet Boys music.”
Clarice turned one of her mini rooms into a homage to the music group, the Backstreet Boys. It was her favorite band in the 1990s, and she still has fond memories of them. She bought all their CDs and filled her bedroom with memorabilia, and to celebrate them, she put photos of the band throughout her mini room.
For Clarice, this room wasn’t just décor — it was a way to relive her youth and celebrate the band that shaped her memories.
Tracy the T-Rex

Clarice has brought her sense of humor into another of her mini rooms by placing a T-Rex at a desk. To humanize the dinosaur, she has put a pretty hat on its head.
She tells a story about the dinosaur, whom she calls Tracy, and who is about to start typing.
“Tracy had everything ready — she sprayed her paper with Chanel No. 5, got her coffee ready, reminded herself her pain is champagne and it’s a good day to work on her biography.
15 minutes later she lost it. Couldn’t type as fast as she wanted because her arms are too short.
‘Keep calm & stay pretty’ became ‘Keep calm & don’t destroy the room.’”
We are left wondering whether Tracy keeps calm or if she acts in true dinosaur fashion.
Picasso the Panda

Clarice changed a simple post office miniature house into an exotic one in Peru. She added a lovely little panda whom she call0065d Picasso, who is sending a postcard to the parliament in Perth. In Clarice’s words:
“Picasso the panda posting a postcard from the post office of Peru to the Parliament in Perth.”
Short, playful, and imaginative — Clarice leaves the rest to us.
Final Thoughts
Rolife’s kits have given Clarice more than she could have imagined. Not only has she learned how to build beautiful miniatures, but she has personalized them to tell a story, some about herself, and others, she has used her imagination.
