Rolife Moments: Wendy’s Neko Nook – A Manga Lover’s Miniature Story

Sep 19,2025 | Rolife Team

At Rolife, every miniature house and book nook tells a story. For Wendy, the Corner Bookstore kit became a window into her favorite memories, her love for anime, and a way to bring her cherished manga into a tiny, magical world.

Wendy’s Motivation

Wendy is a fan of anime and has many manga books and comics in her study at home. She saw that Rolife has a kit called the Corner Bookstore and thought that she could adapt it to feature her graphic novels rather than the general books it comes with. By doing this, the bookstore has taken on a different vibe.

“When I built Corner Bookstore DG164 as Neko Nook, I did it with the idea of turning it into a manga shop that included my favorite volumes, so I could keep them as a little mini memory forever. These are books that have marked me in one way or another and bring back good memories. “

The Name: Neko Nook

To begin with, Wendy wanted to change the name of the bookstore so that it was personal to her and her love of anime. She finally decided on Neko Nook. Neko means ‘cat’ in Japanese, but this doesn’t only refer to our furry friends. It includes characters in anime that have catlike features. On the canopy, she painted a catgirl to represent the name of the store and its theme.

The name Neko Nook makes the bookstore feel like a comfy corner hidden in a Japanese alleyway. Perhaps a lover of anime has heard about the store and has sought it out, or maybe a stranger will pass by and discover Wendy’s world.

A Bookshop Full of Memories

Wendy has dedicated the bookshop to manga. There are posters with anime pictures adorning the walls, and she has covered the books with scenes from anime stories. She has made sure that she has included her favorite volumes, saying,

“....so I could keep them as a little mini memory forever.”

Wendy has not only created a miniature bookstore. She has built a temple dedicated to the anime that has helped to develop her personality. Every book in this miniature world holds a piece of her soul and reveals how she has become the interesting young woman she is.

The Setting

Wendy placed the corner bookstore in her study, where she spends most of her time. It is always within her sight, so she can look at it and remember whenever she wants.

“Every time I walk into my study, I can’t help but look at this kit with great fondness.”

The bookstore is a powerful symbol. Because she sees it time and time again, her memories cannot fade. This makes her happy because the memories are good ones, and she doesn’t want to forget them. They offer her tranquility and inspire her creative nature.

Conclusion

Wendy’s Corner Bookstore is a bridge between her past, present, and future. By customizing her kit, she turned a Rolife miniature into a personal world of joy and memories.
